Ladybug
Mystic ladybug
Sitting on my ceiling
Thought that you’d be gone by now
I’m haunted by the feeling
Wish I could ask for you to play
And chase me out of my room
Out and down the neighborhood
The sun’s dry kisses slowing afternoon
Fateful days of our youth
Those we love remain few
Forsaken promises of then
Encapsulated in insects now
Reminding me
You were as beautiful as nature
