A Self Help Intermission

Admittance to the cause, we fall,
Stifled by audience guffaws.
Attracted to you by fatal law.

I liken self deprecation
To my mind, mental vacation.
Interlude me, I’m intrigued.
Rude comments without fatigue.
Who will win? When will I lose?
Awaken again to repress snooze.

Let us forget through ignorance,
Tired from the indifference.
Head-on attack, my feet retract.
Externalize fear, need to react.
